1960's Washington Auto Racing Framed Poster! Vintage Sports Car Grand Prix Race
This listing is for a vintage auto race poster featuring a 1950s B Roadster Sport! This advertising poster is for Sports car races held at the Kent Pacific Raceways in Kent Washington and was sponsored by the Puget Sound Sports Car Auto Club.
The race took place on Sunday Aug 14th in the late 1950s or early 1960s. This copy of this vintage classic race poster and is printed on heavy cardstock paper. Overall, the image looks great and is sharp and vibrant. The red and black Color of the letters and Car really pop against the Yellow background.
But it does have discoloration and wear from age, which can include along the white border edges. This can also include creases, pitting or water marks (See Photos). Its also possible there may be some writing in pencil or pen on the backside, but overall still shows nice.
From the research available this poster was printed in the 1970s by the Globe Poster company. The company reprinted some of their 1950s and 1960s racing posters for a client that was going to sell them. I portion of these posters sat in a warehouse and this is how I acquired it. The Poster measures around 11X17 Inches but framed is 12x18. The frame is new and comes with a high-definition plastic cover to keep the poster protected. This Framed Poster would look incredible hanging in your Man Cave, Game Room, Shop, Bar or Garage!
