1966-67 Pontiac GTO, Chevelle, Olds 442, Nova Deluxe GM Carriage Logo Seat Belts
This is an original (not reproduction) set of five 1966-67 Pontiac GTO, Chevrolet Chevelle, Oldsmobile 442, and Buick Skylark GM Carriage Logo Deluxe seat belts with retractor housings. They are also correct for the 1966-67 GM Full-Size cars.
These original seat belts have been beautifully restored here in our workshop to the highest standards. Special care was taken, and hours spent, to make sure that they are ready for the finest cars. As you can see the buckles, anchor cleats, and male tongue connectors are satin smooth with no cracks, scrapes, or rust. It's amazing that anyone (Anna & Me) would spend the time to make them so beautiful again.Even GM would be glad to issue them as standard equipment on their cars. We are proud to say that these seat belts were made in the USA and restored in the USA. They are being offered at a special price, so we can introduce ourselves to the Camaro and Firebird car communities. Each buckle has a reanodized cover and a Gold GM Carriage logo push button. These cover surfaces are smooth with no scratches, rust, or scapes.
We spent an incredible amount of effort to make them impeccable examples. Even the original chrome buckle-backs have bright smooth surfaces and the correct safety and model number stampings.
They have no rust or chrome pitting. The male connector tongues have been rechromed. Each has an unblemished gleaming surface. The retractor mechanisms were rebuilt to OEM specs with restored original vinyl covers installed. Both the LH and RH sides operate smoothly.
To make this set an even more accurate restoration, we are using, All-New, heavy-duty three panel black webbing on each belt. Our webbing has a substantial thickness, looks right, and has the same supple feel as the original used by GM. This GM Deluxe seat belt set includes: Two pair of front seat lap belts with retractor housings and three pair of rear seat lap belts. C areful attention was given to every step in our restoration process. Yes, it takes more time and effort to restore our belts, but the spectacular results are worth the exercise.
