The Formula 1 race was held at Hockenheim which is located in the Germany. It was the final career victory for Andretti, who went on to win the Championship after Ronnie Peterson's fatal crash at Monza. Andretti is renowned as one of the greatest drivers in racing history. This photo was taken by legendary Hollywood photographer Oscar Abolafia, who had frequently visited the Cover of "Time Magazine".
