73 74 75 76 GTO Lemans GT Exhaust Tail Pipe Chrome Tips

This tip has been long discontinued from the GM dealer and NOS tips are impossible to find. When developing the exhaust system for the 73 GTOs Inline tube also developed an exact reproduction of this never before available chrome tip. This tip is one of the defining features of the 73 GTO & Hurst Olds yet so many have had the exhaust replaced with no replacement tip or the wrong tip substituted. Now your GTO or Hurst Olds can have the correct look with a preformed exhaust or at least the correct rear exit exhaust tip.

These tips are identical to the factory originals, polished to a mirror finish with a bolt that mount them to the original pipe hanger or a general aftermarket hanger and pipe. They install with a single drilled hole in your existing exhaust.

When installed they have the exact factory look. They are made of stainless steel that is polished to chrome and feature the correct oval cut on the end. These were made from factory originals and are unlike the other reproduction that has no reduction at the tail pipe and no way to hold it to the factory hanger with undefined bends and oval cut.

With no reduction it is a 2 1/2 pipe that fits nothing. This is by far the best reproduction on the market and only INLINE TUBE has it. From 73-77 all The original cars had a 2 tail pipe and these tips are designed just like the factory so that the tip slides over the tail pipe. Of the tip is 2. If you have an oversized tail pipe in 2 1/4 you can still use these tips but they will slide into the tail pipe since the O. Of the tip is 2 1/4. So this makes them usable on either a 2" stock pipe or an oversized 2 1/4" pipe. If you have some off size any local muffler shop can expand you pipe to any size you need for the tip. We do not make header or mandrel bent systems and we will not offer a 3 system or overkill systems but aside from the bone stock systems we do offer larger than stock pipes on select applications.
